How to restart services on on-premise server

Many services running on VPN server need to be restarted for applying changes like enabling logs, external DNS, split routing etc. On a Cloud server all these tasks are automated and no human interaction is required. But for On-Premise server, the restart has to be performed by the user since our control systems has no access to the server.

All required services can be restarted safely using wrapper tool 'utnservice' installed into '/utunnel/bin' folder on UTunnel VPN server.

1. Connect to your server using SSH client. You need root previleges to perform restart.

2. Run below command with sudo privileges.

sudo /utunnel/bin/utnservice reload
